Clean Beauty Foundations You Need

Foundation is one of those things that can really change your makeup game. A good foundation is like finding the perfect pair of jeans. It just makes putting together a look so much easier. The perfect base is so ideal because not only does your skin look amazing but it makes it so easy to create the perfect makeup look and it makes it easy and effortless to do your makeup every day. It takes some serious trial and error before the perfect base is found but I have done some testing for you to find you the perfect foundation. Today we are going to be talking about 3 amazing clean beauty foundations!

Bite Beauty Micellar Foundation
Performance - This foundation is light to medium coverage however I will say it skews more medium. If you apply a little on your face and blend out with your fingers you will get a very nice light coverage however for the most part if you apply it with a brush or sponge it is medium in coverage. It is that kind of lightweight base that gives you a flawless finish to the face however it is not heavy looking. I will say this will need some powder if worn all day because it tends to look a little bit dewy (not greasy) but if you use a little powder you will be looking good all day. This foundation also photographs nicely which I think is really important these days with all the pictures we are taking! I will say the shade skew slightly warm but it isn’t too crazy just something to keep in mind when picking your shade. Overall this is a great everyday foundation and can be worn on a night out and you will be happy.
Price - This is $39.50 and it is worth it!
Vegan - Yes! This is vegan which is awesome 🌿.

Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation
Performance - This one is by far my personal favorite and the one I recommend for wearing to an event, like a wedding. This is medium coverage however I think it can build up to be more medium + in coverage. If you apply it with your fingers and don’t apply too much you can get the perfect flawless and light coverage base. It photographs really nicely, it is not cakey, gives you a flawless base which is literally all you want from a foundation you wear to events. This foundation should also be powdered because towards the end of the day it gets dewy but it is really awesome. With the perfect primer, whichever you like best for your skin type, you will have the perfect look!
Price - This is $54 which is expensive but compared to its dupe, the Armani Luminous Silk which is $64, I think it’s a great price.

Kosas Tinted Face Oil
Performance - I am obsessed with the tinted face oil for a few reasons. It is light to buildable medium coverage which is great! It photographs so nicely and it really just blends beautifully and looks like skin. This is the foundation/tint I go with for the most part whenever I film because it is lightweight but provides me with the coverage I need for every day. It smooths out the complexion and really gives you a gorgeous flawless base. If you have more texture to your skin this probably won’t be the foundation for you but if you don’t have a lot of texture this is really nice! It layers up really nice and can build up to medium coverage if needed but for the most part, I will say this is more of a light coverage foundation/tint. I really enjoy it and if you are someone who loves a tinted moisturizer but wants a little more coverage than they offer this would be great for you!
Price - This is $42 which isn’t too bad for a tint and I think it is well worth the price!
