MERIT Beauty is a new minimalist clean beauty brand launched by Katherine Power. She is also the CEO of Versed & WhoWhatWear. I was very intrigued when MERIT Beauty launched because it seemed as though they were taking a similar approach to Glossier. A simple approach to makeup that is lightweight and effective. Putting skin first and enhancing what you already have in a minimalist way, and creating products that create a simple makeup look.

MERIT The Minimalist Foundation and Concealer Stick
Performance - This foundation and concealer stick is amazing and versatile. It applies really seamlessly to the skin and is super simple to blend out. It also has really great buildable medium coverage and does not look heavy or cakey on the skin. As a concealer, this is amazing, and it is my favorite way to use this product because it does. not. crease! A concealer that does not crease is something people have been on the hunt for, for so long. This concealer has awesome coverage as well! The downside to this product is if you like something that will brighten your dark circles you would have to buy two shades. If you use it strictly use it as a concealer then one stick is fine. If you like concealer that is the color of your foundation, then you will be fine with just one stick as well! Overall this is a great product that blends really well, has good coverage, and gives your skin a really flawless look.
Price - This is $38, which is expensive for how much product you get but worth it!

MERIT Flush Balm Cream Blush
Performance - If you love blush but get nervous it can look like too much this is a great blush. It has pigmentation, but it is not over the top at all! It blends nicely and gives a natural flush to the cheeks without being overwhelming. This is a cream blush with a dewy finish, so it does fade towards the end of the day but does not look patchy. This is a great blush to try out!
Price - These cost $24 each, which is not crazy expensive.
Vegan - Yes! This is vegan which is awesome 🌿.

MERIT Clean Lash Lengthening Mascara
Performance - This is a very impressive mascara because it does not flake or run, even when you do not set your concealer with powder. That is hard to come by, especially during warmer days! This mascara holds a curl really well and lasts all day long. It also washes off really easily at the end of the day. This is also a buildable mascara, so it does not look clumpy after 2-3 coats, which is amazing and gives you a gorgeous lash look.
Price - These cost $26 which is average for clean beauty mascaras!

MERIT Volumizing Eyebrow Pomade Gel
Performance - This is a good brow gel that does exactly what it says it is going to do and deposits a nice amount of color. Although it did not blow me away, I have to say it does a good job. This brow gel keeps your brows in place and creates a full brow look! The shade range is also really great and does not skew warm, which can sometimes be an issue. It is definitely worth checking out!
Price - This brow gel is $24 and is worth the money!
