Non-Toxic Dior Lip Glow Clean Beauty Dupe?
My lip balm obsession continues with this week’s This to That and today we are looking at the Cult Dior Lip Glow. I like the Dior Lip Blow but there are a few things that really bug me (besides the fact that it isn’t non-toxic.) The way the product stains lips is a big one. It just looks like you have some kind of issue and your lips after the product wears off. Any part of your lip that was chapped, peeling..etc is stained in the most unattractive way. I wanted a product alternative for the Dior Lip Glow that made my lips look alive with a flush of color without then wearing off and making them look terrifying. Enter the Honest Tinted Lip Balm.
LET’S FIRST TALK ABOUT DIOR LIP GLOW:
1) Formula - It has a smooth consistency when it is put on the lips. However, I do not love how the color wears off. After a little, the shininess goes down and all that is left is the “stain”, but the stain looks a little gross. If your lips were dry or cracked, or you pick at them (like me because I’m a psycho) the stain is so intense in those areas and looks really bad.
2) Scent - The scent is nice and not overpowering.
3) Color - The colors are cute however they can be a little too pink in undertone.
4) Hydration - This product is hydrating and has a nice consistency.
5) Amount of Product - This product has 0.12 oz of product
6) Price - $34

LET’S NOW DIVE INTO HONEST TINTED LIP BALM

1) Formula - The texture of this is very smooth and smooths out your lips. This formula wears really well. Whether you have dry lips or not you will be a big fan of this.
2) Scent - This does not have any scent which is really nice.
3) Color - I really enjoy the colors! They really add an amazing subtle amount of color to the lips. On days where you want something that isn’t too intense these are perfect. Even on days where your lips are looking dull or even dead (anyone else knows what I mean?), this is perfect and looks awesome! I also love how realistic the colors look and not over the top pink.
4) Hydration - I really like this for hydration and it sits really nice on the lips and smooths them out.
5) Amount of Product - This has a little more product at 0.14 oz of product.
6) Price - $8.99!! I mean the price alone makes it worth it. But price + formulation makes this a slam dunk.
7) Color Range - 7 colors
Is the Honest Tinted Lip Balm Clean Beauty Code Approved?… Yesss! And I actually like it more than the Dior Lip Glow because of how it wears! It also is soo much cheaper!! You cannot go wrong with this one.
